My work explores how to build curved curtain walls and atmosphere for buildings, so as to increase the dynamics of Fort lane. I have considered that the historical development and dynamics of Fort lane and the curve are related, so the main feature of my design is liquidity.

In my design, the modern geometric concept of Fort Lane is the core idea. I tend to use the softness like waves to commemorate Fort Lane as it was covered by ocean originally, which was later artificially transformed into land. In “The Ocean Changed My Architecture,” Kuma wrote, by introducing “louvers derived from the waters.... the ocean provided the concept of the particles.” Kengo Kuma often puts different materials in one work and intends to bring out some unexpected meanings. Therefore, he usually avoids choosing overly large materials and he makes every effort to break them down into small elements or particles. Inspired by him, I used some collage, small modeling and rendering to explore my ideas.
