My project involved the development of a five piece set of customizable cosplay amour. I utilized fabrication techniques such as CNC machining, 3D Modelling and Vacuum forming to create the forms required for my project.

This project focused on the design and production of a five-piece mid-range set of cosplay base armour. The armour can be adapted through the application of various different materials such as paint and epoxy sculpt to suit the needs of the user.

Over the course of this project I was able to learn a lot about the process of making cosplay armour. This involved the use of 3D modelling to create the designs, CNC machining to make the moulds, and vacuum forming to create the final product.

I interviewed cosplayers at different skill levels to determine if my product would be desirable to them. I found that intermediate-level cosplayers were the most suitable target audience for my product as they had the skills and knowledge to customise the armour. They had worked with a variety of materials and were comfortable with using them in this context.
