An open world cozy game

Explore the grove, customise your character, and build friendships with the uniquely diverse collection of NPCs waiting to talk to you! In the grove you are accepted anyway you come- a game focused on the importance of friendship and helping others, and the power behind having vulnerable conversations.

Greenlily Grove is a project created using an auto-ethnographical approach, where my personal feelings, experiences and thoughts were used to inspire every aspect of the game, such as character design, aesthetics and narrative. As an individual with ADHD who struggles with symptoms related to disorders such as anxiety and OCD, my aim was to create a safe space for those who may struggle with symptoms similar to my own, a space where they can relate and relax. This project has been an exploration not only into mental health representation in video games, but a deep exploration into myself. Every character present within the game is a direct reflection and derivative of various phases and experiences throughout my personal life.
