Intro of WINNER
Winner is a short dystopian CGI film. There are two characters in this film, one is a replicator, and the other one is a CEO of a technology company. The story sets in a futuristic society where they coexist. It tells about the replicator taking revenge on the CEO named Bill Cliff who created and oppressed him.
This project is a short dystopian CGI film that intends to highlight the reality of social status and social class differences from the perspective of capitalist monopoly. I was inspired by the movie Blade Runner 2049 (2017) which I constantly explored a hybrid art style of wasteland and cyberpunk to show the theme of social class differences in a visual way. For this purpose, I raised a question alongside my production process, “How can I achieve the hybrid art style of wasteland and cyberpunk in my project, especially through visual effects?”.
The main tools for creating this project included Maya, Zbrush, Marmoset, Marvelous Designer, Substance Painter, Houdini, UE5, After Effects, and Premiere Pro CC to push me forward in the stages of modeling, texturing simulating, compositing, rendering, and editing.
