A recipe book for making paper

“Paper: re-use, re-form, re-create” is a publication that draws from traditional paper-making methods, to instruct on how to make handmade paper out of recycled paper waste.

Employing ways to reuse paper waste, this publication allows users to create a circular economy within their homes by entering a re-use, re-form and re-create pattern while paying homage to the traditional art form of paper-making.

When we think of paper, we typically use it in conjunction with writing, printing or painting to create a project. But paper doesn’t have to lack excitement, it can be something that we admire on its own.

Since the introduction of industrial machinery and mass production, traditional paper-making has become a dying art form in many cultures. This project draws on traditional methods to form a publication that explores and teaches paper consumers how to make paper at home—using recycled waste paper.

The final publication contains information on getting started including ten paper recipes. It also contains a sample paper pack which is housed in a keepsake box.
