Fashion is a shape, a changing shape. This body of work focuses on disrupting the natural silhouette of the body, specifically the shoulder and neck. In this instance, the head held high is related to authority and dignity. The subtle silhouette disruptions in these areas confuse the viewer; they are unexpected - the body's shape and proportions are changed.
