Breaking and Exiting

Breaking and Exiting is a short animated film which follows two burglars, Kara and Doug, as they (attempt to) rob a suburban home before the homeowner arrives. The animation was entirely hand-drawn, primarily using Krita for the moving images and Procreate for the still images. Conceptually, it is an exploration of what can be communicated without dialogue - my research question specifically pertained to portraying conversations between characters, but the entire story is told without words.
