Circles of You, A guide to hormonal clarity for women wondering why.
Circles of You: Understanding You, Hormonally
My project explored how design can make complex medical information about women’s hormones accessible, trustworthy, and emotionally resonant. Circles of You responds to the widespread lack of clear and relatable education surrounding women’s hormonal health, aiming to make this information more understandable and supportive.
Focusing on women aged 18–24, a group navigating the transition from adolescence to adulthood and often beginning to question their own hormonal patterns, I aimed to create a space where they feel seen and equipped with tools to understand themselves. Drawing on my own experiences of seeking answers to hormone-related skin issues, I developed a multi-sectional publication supported by an animated video and a cycle tracker. Through typographic design, visual storytelling, and clear colour systems, Circles of You clarifies hormonal health through visual and emotional understanding, demonstrating how empathetic, engaging design can bridge the gap between medical knowledge and lived experience.
Circles of You invites readers to see their hormonal cycles not as something to be managed, but as a natural rhythm to understand and collaborate with, encouraging confidence, clarity, and self-awareness among young women.
