Dreams are Made of Water and Paint

Dreams are Made of Water and Paint (2023) is a 3D animated short story about a dispute between two sisters.

The story is set in an urban location and begins with Lily, the older sister announcing to Lilac that she was accepted to a university, showing excitement. The younger sister Lilac expresses distress in fear of being separated by her older sister and tries to convince her that the city is a terrible place with thieves and health risks. But her older sister has always dreamt of going to the city as she enjoyed the artistic aspects of the place, and Lilac learns to understand and respect her sister's dreams, returning the invitation letter.

The project was in collaboration with Ha Anh Vu. My role in the team was creating the rigs for both characters so they can be expressed and animated.
