You never know what secrets may be hiding in the woods...

Ernest & Alexander is a 2.5D, stylised pixel art narrative-driven game that follows Ernest during a five-day school camping trip. Play as Ernest to guide him through each day, completing camp activities, interacting with his peers and teachers, and getting to know both his character and his world.

I was inspired to create a game that merges narrative and interactivity in a way that feels both emotionally resonant and deeply engaging for the player.

Ernest & Alexander offers a short, lighthearted experience set in the New Zealand countryside — perfect for players seeking a reflective yet gentle story.

I developed this game in collaboration with Lily Ahmad-Davis. My main role focused on coding and Unity management, designing the core game mechanics and minigame mechanics, and assisting Lily with pixel asset creation.
