Gaining your wings is a live action short film around the different stages of grief. The project is about a girl who goes through the stage of losing her loved one, denial, anger, depression and then acceptance. The research question I decided on was “How can I explore my personal experience through grief in the context of a live action short film using the techniques of symbolism, cinematography, editing?”. The reason I chose this story was to create a personal exploration on my own experience with greif. Something  learned was how to make a 3d creature as this is something I have not done in previous works.
