Hello Future is an interactive children's book encouraging teamwork and climate optimism in children through a friendly animal story. The reader follows Mog the frog and Louis the Tui as they take environmental action and encourage their apathetic friend Pat the cat to join them in helping the planet.

The urgency of climate change leaves children feeling overwhelmed and powerless. Playful, age-appropriate discussions of climate issues have become an important way to promote positive action. Interactive elements in the publication like pull tabs, magnets, pop-ups, lift-the-flaps, and paper dolls increase engagement with the story and encourage the audience to take positive environmental action in their own life. Illustrations use modelling clay and other analogue methods to create a familiar and safe tone.
