Highlight areas with high light

Students are travelling alone in poorly lit areas at night without sufficient lighting. Students feel less anxious and concerned about their safety travelling through well lit areas where they can perceive their environment for possible threats or dangers. HighLight is an app that shows streetlight locations for students to travel home in well lit areas. HighLight features a website to keep students engaged in advocating for their safety by joining a movement to improve street lighting across Auckland. Now students can travel home at any time and in any neighbourhood due to their ability to always have streetlight locations on hand.
