Jump into the world of memory

MemoryScape is a 2D pixel RPG game exploring environmental storytelling within the concept of uncanny. I focused on creating an immersive experience for players, particularly fans of classic gaming.

The story begins with Monet, the doctor who works at a Memory Clinic meets with Nina, her first patient who seek Monet’s help.  To convey this, I combined pixel art with 2D lighting techniques, creating visually striking environments that deepen the emotional narrative. This project highlights the value of personal growth and acceptance, inviting players to explore their own stories through the lens of the characters.

The project was contributed with Rina Mori. I was in charge of art director, creating pixel art sprites, UI design, lighting and animating.
