METANOIA
Metanoia is a film that utilizes technology with the ability to capture or simulate reality to showcase ones inner mind. Metanoia itself is the change in one's way of life resulting from penitence or spiritual conversion. To display this we wanted to capture ones journey through there mind, showing different stages of how there thoughts, feelings and memories had changed. Exploring and relaying those feelings of loneliness, nostalgia, fear, and wonder. To capture those feelings we wanted to display it using reality. Using technology such and photogrammetry, camera tracking, and Meta-human, we were able to transfer over bits of reality to create more of an authentic stylized film. We also used Houdini, and Unreal Engine to help simulate the environment and lighting more realistically. So hope you enjoy this roller coaster of the mind, also known as Metanoia.
