There is always a replacement – or is there?

Momentary Blue is an animated short film about a hermit crab living in a rusted can, which encounters an abandoned robot dog on a trashed beach. With an intuitive narrative, I explored the potential use of visual metaphors through composition and representation, to convey the consequences of marine pollution. I hope this animation serves as a reminder, even if only for a moment, of the waste and environmental destruction around the world hidden behind the exuberant technological growth.

To create this work, I used programs such as Autodesk Maya, Zbruh, Substance Painter, Unreal Engine and Nuke.
