More Than Magic is a short 2D animated film that tells the story of Luna, a young girl, and her adoptive witch mother, Myradia, as they navigate the complexities of family and love. The aim was to create a short film that parents and young children could relate to through its themes of love, affection, and understanding within a family dynamic.
I developed this film with Akane Shibata, Charll Enriquez, and Yoxuan Chin. I was responsible for story writing and storyboarding, and also contributed to visual developments, layouts, backgrounds, animating and compositing. Through this project, I explored the process of designing dynamic shots through storyboards, animatics, and layouts to evoke emotional depth in the film.
