Rocky Gee

Mountaineer is a straightforward 2D animated film with a comedic tone and cartoony aesthetic. Built from the foundations of online cartoons I watched growing up, this project is a culmination of my own interests in the creative space in combination with my growing skills as an animator.

The main character, known as the Mountaineer, expresses himself using mainly his face (and muffled voice). He expresses his own emotions through using his big eyebrows, eyes, mustache, and body movement.

The project was created extensively using Adobe Animate, with additional finishing touches done in Premiere Pro. Foley and SFX were mostly created by me using Audacity.
