In 2024, Artificial Intelligence (AI) was responsible for 3.5% pf the world's CO₂ emissions. It's easy to feel powerless in the face of something so vast and intangible.
My capstone project explored how interaction design could raise awareness about the environmental impact of AI technologies. The chrome extension focused on creating an interactive educational platform that would engage users and promote sustainable digital habits. MY.AI offers a new way for individuals to connect personal AI usage with environmental consequences, fostering community and raising awareness and promoting more responsible, sustainable technology use.
