My Capstone project is a Comic Book Store that explores the fabrication and fictional worlds through the design of a retail store for comics, manga and graphic novels. Introducing you to Nobel, defined as grand or impressive, especially in appearances. Bridging this arc, my comic book store ‘Nobel’ is a carefully crafted and timeless space that captures the distinguished ambiance of old and traditional libraries. Situated at site, on Nuffield Street in Newmarket, this unique space elevates the world of comic books, situated in a world of curated, special artefacts, inviting visitors to experience them in a new light. You are introduced into a thoughtfully planned out, programmed space where hustle and bustle fades away, allowing you to immerse yourself in curated collections of graphic novels and comics that ignite curiosity and wonder.
