Overcome darkness

The last magical girl standing, Nora, is surrounded by the ruins of her city and her memories of her fallen friends. To save what’s left, she must face the darkness and discover her own inner light.

This story explores Nora’s journey through despair and hope, as she navigates her path towards self-worth, discovery, and friendship.

I collaborated with my two peers, Nadine Ramiso and Jazz Voss. My roles focused on compositing and background painting, exploring how colour, lighting, and layering effects from After Effects and Clip Studio Paint can be used to create depth and enhance the visual storytelling within our 2D animation.
