A Walk Through Auckland's Central City, Noticing the Overlooked.
Notice aims to draw attention to the overlooked details of our everyday urban environment, highlighting the beauty found in things we often pass without a second thought. Through walking the streets of Auckland Central, I have collected patterns and forms that might otherwise have gone unnoticed. Using publication as a medium, Notice takes these everyday details and amplifies them, reproducing their intricate geometry at a larger scale. By giving these forms a new sense of prominence, the project encourages us to look at them differently and recognise their value. Ultimately, Notice aims to foster a more conscious relationship with the world around us, reminding us that even the smallest details are worthy of our attention.
