Pair is a smart water bottle with a sealed compartment in its base for daily medication. It is designed for young adults with ADHD who manage their own medication independently, where barriers, such as getting out of bed or deciding to take it later, lead to missed doses over time. When it is time, the base glows softly. The user slides the door open, dispenses a single pill into their hand and takes it with water. A weight sensor in the base detects that the pill has been taken, so nothing needs to be logged. Status is shown through widgets on the user's phone, watch or laptop, so the companion app is only needed for setup. pair supports any daily medication and is designed to give users control over their own routine, without streaks, guilt or constant notifications.
