Gutter Ink Studio
“Gutter Ink Studio” is designed to unleash the imaginative thinking behind comic gutters. Where you purchase a specially designed comic book with oversized gutters, in which you are able to ink in your interpretation of what happens in the gutter.
The storefront is a textured aluminium facade with colourful shaped windows and doors. This facade sparks imaginative thoughts drawing people in. Entering the store, you are immersed in a reflective, colourful space evoking feelings of inspiration and artistry. At the kiosk customers can purchase specially designed comic books with a range of drawing media. The comics are stacked on the geometrical bookshelves. Moving through the space vibrant lights and shadows create gutter corridors. Takes you to a range of different furniture, to read the comics and ink in the comic gutter from your imagination.
Our imagination is what makes us human it comes from a place of dreams and aspirations. Gutter Ink Studio is a space where anyone can allow themselves to express how they imagine the story unfolding in the comic gutter.
