RYTHMO

My project, Rythmo, aims to revolutionize electrocardiography (ECG) by focusing on comfort and patient experience. Faced with the discomfort of existing devices, I aimed to create a wearable solution for atrial fibrillation patients in New Zealand. Rythmo condensed wires and electrodes into a single, user-friendly device, eliminating the need for gels or adhesives. This concept emerged from the obvious contrast between the high prevalence of atrial fibrillation in New Zealand and the discomfort patients faced with current monitoring devices, leading to delayed diagnoses and increased health risks.

Its x-shaped design caters to all genders, with customizable straps ensuring a perfect fit and day-long comfort. The breathable lyocell tencel material adapts to various movements, enduring sweat without compromising accuracy. Rythmo's significance lies in providing a seamless ECG monitoring experience. By maintaining patients' regular activities and enabling real-time data transmission, it facilitates early diagnosis. Rythmo not only enhances the patient experience but also prioritizes their health, ultimately reducing the chances of associated health risks.
