A modular system that enables natural energy collection and consumption within the home.

S_orb, is a reimagination of the home energy experience, prompted from our current energy crisis and clean energy revolution.

The system is centered around orbs that can store energy that is passively harvested, or actively earned, through an expandable system. These charging products can be chosen to fit into a particular user's lifestyle. For example, some users may live in sunny or windy environments making a solar or turbine charger an efficient choice. Or an individual takes a bicycle to work, so a cycle charger will earn energy through no extra effort. The energy collected in these orbs can be used in the home, through adaptors which are connected to chosen household appliances.

S_orb helps users to offset rising electricity costs and offer clean alternatives, with more flexibility (doesn’t require home infrastructure and can be expanded as needed). Through physical and tangible interactions, these prompt conscious decisions on their energy collection and consumption, inherently building a better understanding and relationship between a user and their own energy usage.
