The Loop Farm University Workshop

The Loop Farm is an introductory university  workshop programme for students, focused on understanding and structuring their behaviours to prevent academic procrastination and self-doubt, which can lead to negative mental health.

The Loop Farm is an introductory system that aims to guide university students in understanding how behaviours are conducted, maintained, and restructured. The goal is to equip students with a basic rational framework for behaviour formation while enhancing and empowering their sense of self-control.

This means:

- Understanding how behaviours are conducted.

- How to intentionally structure a behaviour.

- How to improve willingness and productivity for users who find starting a behaviour difficult.

The workshop consists of three main components:

1. Conductor

2. Workshop kit

3. Workshop booklet.

All three components work together to ensure that students have the best experience during the workshop. The conductor oversees the entire programme, giving instructions, ensuring students are comfortable and engaged, to provide constructive guidance that is positive, achievable, and healthy. The booklet given to each participant provides visual and physical guidance on the thinking structure that students will learn and follow throughout the workshop and as a record of their journey at Loop Farm. The workshop kit serves as a reward for attending and completing the workshop, as well as maintaining their excitement. It will be given to students during the workshop and returned for reuse once the workshop is completed.
