The Lost City Of Z Environmental Project

My project explores how environmental storytelling can be utilized to communicate history and lore without direct exposition. This project involved blending Angkor inspired ruins with signs of alien influence. The alien element took the form of sleek blue materials and glowing blue circuits, embedded in the environment and structures.

To develop this project, I used software including Blender for 3D Modelling, Substance Painter for texturing, and Unity to compose and layout the environment for rendering. The goal of this projects environment is to showcase how you can communicate the history of the world to the viewers, while worldbuilding all solely through environmental storytelling. Another goal was to invite curiosity which will also increase viewer engagement.
