The Perfect Shot
The Perfect Shot is a 3.5-minute-long 2D animated short film. The story follows three friends as they explore an abandoned facility in hopes of winning a spooky photo competition. Blending comedy, youthful nostalgia and mystery, the film at its core is about appreciating the fun and memories created with friends - all brought to life through a simple yet expressive art style.
In this film, I combined cartoon-style characters with anime-inspired motion and used frame rate modulation to explore how timing influences rhythm and expression.
