The Playbook is a collection of data visualisations that showcases the creativity inherent in sport. Focussing on four main sections of plays, movements, structures, and objects, spatial and movement data is presented through maps and diagrams. Each example is highlighted for its specific role in the creative dimensions of sport, whether the path of a playmaker, trajectory of a ball, or the design-driven form of a stadium or piece of equipment.

This compendium aims to explore the intersection of sport and creativity, bridging the evident gap between these fields. It offers insights for those familiar with either discipline, as well as for those new to both, emphasising their essential connection to one another.
