Compact modular hanger for planned outfits

My project explored how travellers could prepare a full outfit in compact hotel rooms where hangers and storage were limited. The brief asked me to define a specific user and design a product that improves daily preparation; I focused on Tokyo hotels and J-type travellers who plan by day. I considered the spatial footprint, baggage weight limits, and the need for repeated assembly during trips. The core idea was a compact system that organises outerwear, top, and bottom on one structure, allowing users to “see tomorrow’s set” at a glance. The final design used three oval frames proportioned for garment weight and drape, joined by a simplified twist-lock joint that set angles without screws. The structure reduces footprint through vertical organisation and enables all frames to be rotated and aligned in one direction for easy storage inside luggage. By turning planning into a visible, physical step, the design reduced decision load and maintained routines in small rooms. I believe TOMO serves as a clear, behaviour-supporting tool for organised travellers, translating limited spatial conditions into structured order.
