Tracing Shapes

Tracing Shapes presents a monthly comic book showcase for artists, blending everyday life with artistry. It's inspired by the fusion of "Lost in the Lines" and "Your Uncertain Shadow." I began with hands-on research, laser-cutting a stamp of the "Lost in the Lines" page, serving as a key to artistic exploration. Printing the stamp repeatedly with basic ink colours and white created a dance of colour and light, akin to "Your Uncertain Shadow." This process breathes life into the comic gutter design, embodying the transformative power of artistic expression. The exterior facade, like a comic's gutters, serves as a threshold, gradually transitioning from monochromatic exterior to a burst of colour inside. This storytelling facade encapsulates the existing Nuffield Street building while introducing new dimensions of creativity and wonder. Tracing Shapes is a bridge between worlds, reminding us of the boundless potential of creativity.
